The Power of Community

A few short years ago, I found myself faced with the end of my marriage and the beginning of a whole new season. I was used to doing things as a couple. Social outings and even a trip to the store were always done with a partner by my side. All of a sudden, I was thrust into the world of being single and navigating an unfamiliar path of finding and building a social network of my own.
During this time I was grieving and felt more isolated than ever before. I knew I wanted to build a social network outside of work but I had no idea HOW to do it or where to begin.

I started by networking with my local community and organized coffee dates and outings. And though I had fun organizing these events, I longed for something bigger. I wanted to expand beyond the local community. I wanted something new and different that would bring women together who felt the longing for more like I did.

Among the myriad of virtual spaces, women’s online communities have emerged as vital platforms for support, empowerment and connection. These communities offer a unique blend of camaraderie and resourcefulness, serving as sanctuaries where women from diverse backgrounds can come together to share experiences, seek advice and inspire one another. When I couldn’t find a community like this, I decided to create my own!

Launching the week of August 12th, Sacred Sisterhood will be a place to connect with a variety of women from all different walks of life who are longing for community just like you and me. Each month, there will be a session focused on a specific topic such as self love, self care, detachment, divine feminine energy and journaling (to name a few).
So what are the benefits of an online community of women?
-Support and Empowerment: Members can share experiences, offer advice and provide emotional support, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment
-Networking: facilitate connections that can lead to long lasting relationships, collaborations and professional opportunities
-Resource Sharing: members can exchange valuable information, such as techniques that have helped them on their own journey to self love and healing
-Personal Growth: encourages self improvement through shared knowledge and access to diverse perspectives
-Mental Health Benefits: reduces feelings of isolation and promotes mental well being through community support and understanding
-Safe Space: offers a safe and inclusive environment where women can express themselves freely and without judgement
If you’re in a season of change and longing for more, maybe it’s time to be a part of something bigger. Something that will connect you with others and provide support in exactly the way you need to develop more of a loving relationship with yourself and others. I am excited to be on this journey with you. I have longed for the same thing you have and I believe we are one step closer to creating the community we all need!
So what’s holding you back? Are you ready to be a part of something bigger?
